Taylor Swift has once again rewritten music history, becoming the first artist ever to debut a film, an album, and a song at number one simultaneously in the United States.
Her latest album, Life of a Showgirl, debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, while its lead single, The Fate of Ophelia, entered straight at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Adding to her unprecedented success, Swift’s extended promotional film, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, claimed the top spot at the US box office this week.
In another record-breaking feat, Swift has now become the first artist in history to occupy the entire top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 on three separate occasions, a testament to her unmatched influence and dominance in the entertainment industry.
With Life of a Showgirl, she set a new record as the first solo artist in history to achieve 15 number-one albums on the Billboard 200.
The album sold 4.002 million units, making it the biggest first-week album sales record in the world.
